Register Widgets allow you to see information relating to all of the register items that have been assigned to you.
In the following example we are looking at the register named “My Change Log”.
At the top right of the Widget you will see
Click on the cog to open the settings pane.
Widget title
- You can change the name of the Widget and this applies to all widgets.
- Click into Widget Title and type in the new name:
- Click SAVE.
- The Widget will now show the new name.
- Select the “Date Range” from the drop-down menu
Click in the “From Date” and “To Date” to open the pop-out calendar so you can select the date range.
Widget Type:
- Select the Widget Type
- You have the option to select Summary, Trend or Summary and Trend.
Summary By
- Select the summary by criteria:
RAG
- Select the RAG status that you want to display:
- Summary Date Counter
Abbreviate Chart Axes
Depending on the volume of records and the monetary values associated with them, numbers in the tens of thousands or millions may need to be displayed in widgets. These numbers can be difficult to read and interpret so a new option to abbreviate large numbers has been added.
Click SAVE
To open the register item from the widget you can either click the Image, or click the icon in the right-hand corner of the widget.
To export the register items from the widget click the three dots and select “Export”.
This brings you to the following pane where you can choose to export the register as an Image or an Excel file.
Click EXPORT to download your files.
To remove the widget from the dashboard click the three dots and select “Remove”.
My Risk Widget
The “My Risks” widget shows the number and status of open risks that you own across projects.
Other summary data, e.g. Risk Score, Target Date and Overdue can also be seen on the widget. The number of overdue risks is highlighted in red text.
Click on the settings icon to open the following pane.
You can choose to display Open, Closed or All risks on your widget.
Depending on which Matrix you select, this determines the information displayed on the widget, for example, Number of Risks, Cost Impact, etc.
Click on the Full Screen icon to view and edit risks assigned to you across projects.
Click the icon to open the Risk Details pane.
The fields available on this screen are dependent on configuration.
History
Click on the History tab to display the history of entries.

Documents
Click on the Documents Tab to view any uploaded documents. From this pane you can download documents and ADD documents.
Action Items without Leaving the Dashboard
You can click into any area of the graphic without leaving the dashboard to bring you into the information you wish to view.
For example, if you click on the risk hi-lighted below, it opens up the table with the specific risk.
You can edit risks from the dashboard widget grid e.g. Close, Transfer or delete.
My Task Widget
The “My Tasks” widget on “My Dashboard” lists the status of all the tasks that you are resourced on.
At the top right of the Widget you will see
Click on the cog
This will open the “My Tasks Settings” pane.
Navigate to “Summary By” to decide on the information to be displayed on the widget. Use the drop-down list to choose your options. In our example we are viewing “Task Status”.
Note: The “Summary By” field is a drop-down list of options (Status, Phase, Priority, Workstream). The choice drives what options are displayed, for example, when you choose status then you get a list of statuses, when you choose Phases you get a list of phases, etc.
Select the Task Status you want displayed on the “My Tasks” widget
Click SAVE
Your “My Tasks” widget will display the tasks status.
You can click on different aspects of the widget image to pull through the data that is applicable. For example, by clicking into the “Green” area of the donut, this displays the task that have been “Completed” and the selected part of the image becomes prominent.
The number of overdue tasks are highlighted in red text.
Click on the “OVERDUE” text to open the pane that displays the overdue tasks only.
The overdue tasks are highlighted in red in the “Due Date” column.
From the widget view you can click on the Full Screen icon to view the tasks assigned to you across all projects.
You can view and filter the tasks in the table.
Note: This behaviour is the same as previously shown in “Sorting and Filtering” columns in the “My Projects” widget above.
