Enterprise Financials Naming Conventions
Like most of Cora PPM, Enterprise Financials is highly customisable with the ability to localise most terms and also to switch on or off functionality. Individual customer configurations may look different from the examples in this document. The following terms are used throughout this document:
Estimate. The first of the five tabs available in the Enterprise Financials page. The estimate is typically the initial starting position for a project. Unlike the other tabs, the estimate is a single value per account code, it is not split out by period (month)
Budget. The second of the five tabs available in the Enterprise Financials page.
Forecast. The third of the five tabs available in the Enterprise Financials page. This is not the same forecast as used in the (Advanced) forecasting page
Actuals. The fourth of the five tabs available in the Enterprise Financials page
Commitments. The fifth of the five tabs available in the Enterprise Financials page
Account Code. The code used to identify each row in the Enterprise Financials page’s tabs
The Account Sub Group is displayed to provide context together with a longer description to aid the user in entering data against the correct code.
Note: When configuring account codes in Administration | System | Budget Settings, sub groups are linked to groups and, depending on the client configuration, those groups may be part of a Global Site. However, Enterprise Financials does not use Account Groups or Global Sites.
