Alternative Hierarchy Register
An Alternative Hierarchy is a type of Register that enables a client to create alternative project hierarchies which when linked to schedule tasks enable the pivoting of task data from the original project schedule structure into the AH Register defined multi-level structures.
Example: MIL-STD-881F Appendix F
Level 1: Entire system and/or program
Level 2: Major Elements
Level 3: Subsystems
Level 4: Sub-elements of the Subsystems
Level 5: Lower-level elements
The management and reporting on the Aircraft System Alternative Hierarchy would leverage the relationship of Level 5 (lower-level elements) to Schedule Tasks to map and roll-up data into the customer’s work breakdown structure (WBS).
The following are a few examples of Alternative Hierarchy type registers that might be employed in Cora.
A Contract Alternative Hierarchy register could be used to link tasks to Contract Lines for visibility and reporting of Cora Project/Program data from a Contract perspective.

An SAP WBS Element / Network Activities Alterative Hierarchy register could be used for visibility, interfacing, and reporting of Cora Project/Program data to ERP project structures.

Or an Alternative Hierarchy type register could be created for managing a Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) and its linkage to a WBS Schedule to create a Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM)
