Alternative Hierarchy Import Builder Capacity 

Overview

Import Builder register import capability expanded to include Alternative Hierarchy registers.

Import Builder 

When setting up a new Import Builder template with a Register section the Sub Section type dropdown will include standard and alternative hierarchy type registers.

Selecting an alternative hierarchy type register will add order, parent id, and project id to the list of required fields.

Download Template and populate the excel spreadsheet generated in the same manner as other Register import builder files.

Note that following required actions that are unique to alternative hierarchy register import files:

1. Order must be unique within the register import file.  If the register contains existing records, then the import file must begin at highest order number plus 1.
2. Parent Id must be numeric.  Zero Parent Id indicates a Level 1 record.
3. Project ID must be the ID of the target Project for the import.

On the first upgrade all alternative hierarchy type registers will be visible in the Section Sub Type dropdown field in the register section of Import Builder.
