Alternative Hierarchy Register Linkage  

Overview

Creation of a Reference Dropdown field type on Standard and Alternative Hierarchy type registers.  Reference Dropdown enables the surfacing of data from another register.

Administration

Creation of a Reference Dropdown requires the following selections

Type: Single or Multiple Select Reference Dropdown Type

Source: Register or Admin Grid

Register or Admin Grid: Register or Admin Grid selection

Register field: Column from Register

Project 

On the Project register identified the Reference Dropdown field values will be populated from the source Register of Admin Grid.

Upgrading 

On the first upgrade 2 new field type options (Single Select Reference Dropdown Type and Multiple Select Reference Dropdown Type) will be added to the Field Type Attributes Type dropdown.
