Adjusting the 'Hours Per Day' Setting for a Project

The 'Hours Per Day' setting limits the number of work hours that can be assigned to a resource per day on a project. By default, this is commonly set to 8 hours.

If a Resource Manager needs to allocate more hours per day to a resource, they can update this setting within the project.

How to update the 'Hours Per Day' setting

• Navigate to the project.
• Go to the ‘Properties’ section.
• Locate the ‘Hours Per Day’ field.
• Update the value to the desired number of hours.
• Save your changes.

Note: Increasing the hours per day will allow more work to be scheduled for each resource per day, so adjust carefully based on resource availability and workload.
