The Payment Scheduler in Cora PPM includes two related features for tracking when and how money will be invoiced and collected on a project. Both are controlled by the FeatureConfiguration.ServicesProjects licence feature flag.
Feature 1: Payment Schedule (Milestone-Based)
Feature | Purpose |
|---|---|
Payment Schedule | Tracks milestone-based invoicing and collections for eligible project invoice types. |
Prerequisites
Before using the Payment Schedule, confirm the licence, invoice type, and permissions are correctly configured.
Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
Licence Feature | The Services/Projects licence feature must be enabled in system configuration. |
Invoice Type | The project’s Invoice Type must be milestone-capable: Milestone Only, Milestone and Supplier Invoices, or Milestone, Time and Supplier Invoices. Otherwise, the grid is hidden and a warning message is shown. |
Edit Access | Portfolio Managers, Finance Managers, the project’s Project Manager, and Project Owners can edit. Other users can view only. |

Editing Milestones
Click any cell in the grid to enter inline batch-edit mode.
Edit multiple rows before saving.
Note: Amount Paid cannot be edited on a row that is already linked to an invoice.
Understanding the Balance Column
Item | Details |
|---|---|
Balance Formula | Balance = Amount − (Amount Paid + Discount) |
Overdue Highlighting | If the Due Date has passed and the balance is still outstanding, the Balance and Due Date cells turn red. |
Deleting a Milestone
Click Delete on the row.
Milestones linked to an existing invoice cannot be deleted.
Gotchas: Rows linked to existing invoices are restricted and cannot always be edited or deleted.
